my laptop (HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0xxx) battery is dead and running in plugged in. is that okay if i plugged in my HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0xxx laptop fully without removing dead battery

That should be OK, but make sure you check your notebook's case or for any conditions that indicate that the battery may be swelling.

If you have to remove the battery or decide it's time to buy a replacement, below is the link to the service manual.

 

Chapter 3 has the battery part number and chapter 6 has the battery removal and replacement procedure:
