I am going to upgrade my ram soon and am wondering what ram speed this computer can handle anmd if it can only handle a certain speed can I get ram faster then that speed?

Your HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-0023w (6YR56AA) according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06418627 and: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-gaming-tg01-0023w#memory, can be fitted with up to 2 x 16GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-EEC, UDIMM, 288-pin RAM sticks.

DDR4 PC4-25600 3200 MHz is the fastest RAM you can use.

Looking into the best possible RAM for your HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-0023w (6YR56AA) with Erica motherboard (SSID: 8643) -knowing that HP computers are known to be fickle with RAM and attaining max RAM speeds, I looked at HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-0xxx User RAM scores here: UserBenchmark: HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-0xxx Compatible Components, and found that according to these published scores, only the following RAM actually runs at 3200 MHz:
