Good evening, I’ve been struggling with this issue since yesterday. I was in a discord call with a few buddies while playing a game my pc froze. Instead of being patient I pressed the power button, then unplugged my pc. My PC when powered on came up with this screen attached below, eventually it loads then ask me to choose my keyboard layout. I select us, afterwards it takes me to the screen attached below image 1. Now once I select trouble shoot it brings me to image #3. Which is the advanced options layout. Now if I select option 1 it fails and says what is shown in image #4. If I select UEFI Fireware Setting it’s brings me to what is shown in image #5 .if I select system restore it fails and says what is shown in image #6. If I selected uninstall updates it shows two options they both fail( shown in image 7&8) If I select system image recovery it fails and does what is shown in image #9.
Now i did run hardware checks, after reading instructions from another another thread. Ultimately my pc prevailed and showed no issues.
I did shut the pc off, unplug all my accessories then power it back on this showed I had an error with the cmos. So i removed the battery waited five minutes then reinstalled it. This did not work. I did go and purchase another battery this did not solve the issue either!
Please help me HP community!!!

This is from all other answers the common denominator which makes the most sense. Just one question. If I don't have access to another computer to download or make a USB to install it where else can I retain it from to put it on my system. Suggestions?? No willing friends either..or they continually forget 😞

Hello @lucky429
Just ask a friend/acquaintance/neighbor

U am guessing you missed reading the last sentence that said I had no willing friends or anyone that can remember to do so?
Which is why I was asking how else I can obtain the operating system to put back on mine without having to use another persons computer. It seems no one really wants someone else in their system and don't really feel like helping anyway. Who knows?
So, other suggestions to reobtain the operating system. And no I cannot get into mine at all any more not even dos.

" Human beings are social creatures, without friends it simply doesn't work. "
Please contact HP Support, they can sent you bootable <USB flash drive> to install windows operating system.
HP needs product number (p/n) and serial number (s/n) to help you.
Good luck
