HP Pavilion Gaming - TG01-1160xt CTO

I have a HP Pavilion Gaming PC with a i7-10700 CPU using the Baker 470 motherboard.

I have been getting PCIe  whea errors with the Realtek wifi/Bluetooth m.2 card that’s installed in the motherboard.  I tracked it down to the realtek because I looked on event viewer and it matched hardware ID’s for the faulty PCIe whea errors to that of the Realtek m.2.

I want to replace that Realtek card for an intel AX200 wifi/Bluetooth m.2 card.

Can I replace the Realtek m.2 wifi/Bluetooth with the intel ax200 wifi/Bluetooth card?

Hi

The Intel card https://www.amazon.com/Intel-Wi-Fi-Gig-Desktop-AX200-NGWG-NV/dp/B085M7VPDP you are looking at should work in your MB. Both WIFI cards are Key A, M.2.

This alternative Intel card https://www.amazon.com/Intel-AX201NGW-Wi-Fi-AX201-Wireless/dp/B0933H3M6L is offered by HP at purchase instead of the Realtek card.

Thanks for the info, a big help.  I get the Intel AX200 today and will report back if the PCIe whea errors are finally resolved.

thanks again!

Hi

My pleasure.

There is a chance the M.2 socket has issues. Same problem with a different WIFI card would lead to this conclusion.
