Hello,

 

I  have an issue with HP X32 QHD Gaming Monitor. Which is stuch at RGB colour test loop. I cound not find any information about this test and how to stop it. I happens every time that monitor is powered. I was trying disconnect power for few minutes or even few hours but every time monitor is booted it is stuck at RGB test loop. I was also trying to hold every button in the back of the monitor for at least 30 seconds. But it did nothing with it. Maybe someone can help me find correct button combination to quit the test.

f your HP X32 QHD Gaming Monitor is stuck in an RGB color test loop and standard troubleshooting steps like disconnecting power or holding buttons have not resolved the issue, here are some steps you can try to fix it:

1. Power Cycle the Monitor

Turn Off the Monitor:

  • Power off the monitor using the power button.

Disconnect All Cables:

  • Unplug the power cable and any video cables (HDMI, DisplayPort) from the monitor.

Wait for 1-2 Minutes:

  • Leave the monitor disconnected for a few minutes to ensure any residual power is drained.

Reconnect Cables:

  • Reconnect the power cable and video cables.

Power On the Monitor:

  • Turn the monitor back on and see if the issue persists.

2. Perform a Hard Reset

Turn Off the Monitor:

  • Ensure the monitor is turned off.

Press and Hold Power Button:

  • While the monitor is off, press and hold the power button for about 10-15 seconds. This can sometimes reset internal settings.

Release and Power On:

  • Release the power button and then turn the monitor on.

3. Use Monitor’s On-Screen Menu

Access the Menu:

  • Press the menu button (usually located on the back or side of the monitor) to open the on-screen display (OSD) menu.

Navigate to Reset Options:

  • Look for a Factory Reset or Reset All Settings option in the menu. This option might be under Settings, System, or a similar category.

Perform the Reset:

  • Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the monitor to its default settings.

4. Check for Firmware Updates

Visit HP Support Website:

  • Go to the HP Support website.

Search for Your Monitor Model:

  • Enter “HP X32 QHD Gaming Monitor” or your monitor model to find support documents and software updates.

Download Firmware Updates:

  • If a firmware update is available, download and follow the instructions to update the monitor’s firmware.
