Product: HP X34 2V7W6AA#ABB
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I bought macMini M1 2020 and looking for external display. I found HP x34 2V7W6AA#ABB and Im curious will it be compatible or not? I just found one of reviews which says that guy couldnt connect his macbook , because display only works with 165 Hz resolution and if the resolution is not supported by PC , screen goes wild (maybe its old version of macbook, cause I heard Monterey fixed many problems). Could you please advise?

This is up to your Mac, can it drive a high specs HP x34.

Banhien, thanks for your time and attention to my concern.

 

I actually specified model and type of OS and it'd be wounderful to receive more detailed answers. Maybe someone already had an expirience with this kinda of setup. 

 

Also i am interested , is HP x34 can properly work in 144Hz environement?
