- Just bought a new gaming pc less than a month ago , worked fine yesterday but now it can’t start up . shows black screen with blue windows logo and then a colorful static screen and tries to restart itself . if I spam f11 however it does show the page to try and help if there’s a problem like the trouble shooting so I know it’s not the video card having trouble .

Hello @Graydon19
You might have to simply reinstall Windows via F11. You can navigate to the recovery mode from the trouble shooting link there. This will wipe the drive and return the PC back to the state is was in when brand new.
Before you do, see if you can access the UEFI Diagnostics menu. With the laptop off, press the power button and rapidly tap the F2 key until a menu appears.
Navigate to the Component tests and go to hard drive test. Run the fast test first. If it finds nothing, run the long test.
IF that does not find nothing, go back and navigate to the Extensive Test (not Component test) and run that. It will take a few hours. Keep the laptop power plugged in while you do all of this.
IF it does find an error, you will need to contact HP Support for a warranty claim.
