HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0038

Running AMD Ryzen 5 2400G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.60 GHz, 16.0 GB (13.9 GB usable), 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor,

8 GB memory; 1 TB HDD storage, 1 TB 7200 rpm SATA, NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti (4 GB GDDR5 dedicated), Most  of my games are on SSD with 323G unused, I am looking for ways to manually upgrade the hardware that can be upgraded as high as I can without having to lose the size of my kit. Piece by piece  or at least a list from somewhere I see how far I can upgrade too. My main graphics card is the NVidia, I believe I can go as far as 32 for RAM. Just looking for some help. Thanks

Certainly, you can upgrade various components of your HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop 690-0038 to enhance its performance. But before proceeding with any upgrades, please keep the following tips in mind:

  • Check your desktop's warranty status, as upgrading certain components may void the warranty.
  • Research and ensure compatibility between the components you plan to upgrade and your motherboard, CPU socket, and other existing hardware.
  • Ground yourself and follow proper safety procedures when working inside your desktop.
  • Back up critical data before making any hardware changes.
  • Take note of your system's specifications and consider your specific needs to determine which upgrades will benefit you the most.

You can also use the UserBenchmark website to compare any two systems of your choice and see how they perform in different games and applications.
