Help needed with tpm2.0/bios

I have an hp pavilion gaming desktop model TG01-0023W with the ryzen 5 3500 cpu and want to get it situated to play cod . I have updated my bios to the latest version i have seen which is F.47 it shows tpm 2.0 is active when i do attestation test but the manufacturer version ( 3.90.0.5) is supposedly causing the issue is there any way i can change/update manufacturer versions or is this pc a sitting duck now?

Unfortunately, it appears that HP is not going to provide a BIOS upgrade for older systems, as communicated in this recent HP document: HP AMD platforms with ASP fTPM - TPM Attestation failure | HP® Support.

So, yes, in a sense your legacy PC has fallen behind in terms of gaming compatibilities...

Finally a definitive answer to a burning question.

But I wonder if HP's TPM 2.0 firmware update policy also applies to some, or all, of the Omen PCs using those AMD processors??

All we know at this point in time is that HP's firmware policy will at the very least apply to the models listed in the document, but I suspect that the "list" will be (much) longer before this is over.

Sorry to see HP has decided to allow functioning AM4 MBs fade into gaming obsolescence.

Heck, AMD has rereleased some 5000 series processors to ameliorate the DDR5 memory price apocalypse.

I've got an MSI Tomahawk B550 MB.

MSI did the TPM update and the Windows Secure Boot firmware (PK database) update.
