Hi I have a HP 2B5E Motherboard. I was wondering if a new GPU rtx 2080 would be compatible? (I plan on upgrading my power supply)

Hi @ShamilManaf

Had to do some sleuthing to locate your PC using the MB SSID 2B5E. The following PC product number conclusion and BIOS update option may be incorrect.

It is tough to confirm the 2080 will fit in the case if this is your PC. The 280 G2 Microtower supports a UEFI BIOS but you might need a BIOS update.

Here is the only BIOS update for W10 and W7 I can find for your PC (if you have a 280 G2 Pro Microtower).

The 2080 is around 10.5 inches in length and is a dual slot card. The 2080 requires a UEFI BIOS.

The 2080 may require a 550 watt power supply having one 6 pin and one 8 pin supplemental PCIe power connectors.

See this Site for 2080 specs.

Regards
