I'm looking at the HP Omen gaming desktop to use with MSFS 2020 &24 flight sims with a Meta Quest 3 headset. The Hp Omen is a GT16-0884 with i7-16700 CPU, 16 Ram, RTX5060ti GPU, Windows 11 -
Will this be enough to run the programs with the headset ?

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
You got an HP Omen 35L Gaming Desktop GT16-0884 (C30GCAA) as fitted with the ArcticS motherboard (SSID: 8CF1), and according to the specs, an Intel Core i7-14700F.
Great question.
Short answer: yes -a GT16-0884 (i7-14700F, RTX 5060 Ti, 16 GB RAM) could run MSFS 2020/2024 with a Meta Quest 3, but it's probably not ideal for VR flight sim, and an upgrade to something like an RTX 5070 or 5070 Ti would likely give a noticeably smoother experience, especially in VR.
Why an RTX 5070 / 5070 Ti (or better) Might Be a Better Choice?
Upgrading the GPU would give you:
More performance headroom -Better framerate, better 1% lows, smoother VR experience.
More VRAM -Especially with the higher-spec 5070 Ti (many are 16 GB), which helps with detailed scenery and textures in flight sim.
Future-proofing -More capable GPU means you can crank up graphics quality, rendering scale, or play future demanding titles or add-ons.
Kind Regards,

Hey, thanks for the input, which I welcome because I'm shopping right now to replace my old Dell G7 which I have used with MSFS 2020 for the past 4 years. The "probably not ideal for VR flight sim" is food for thought, and enough to make me think about looking for more power.
The Info is much appreciated - Thanks aqain
