Hp Compaq 8300 SFF

My compaq 8300 randomly turns off with no warning like "Shutting Down" and the dots are spinning yadayadayada

Can someone help me turn off Turbo boost? Thanks

Enter the phrase 'edit power plan' in the window search box
Then select the 'Advanced' tab

To prevent turbo, select  %99 instead of %100. This keeps the CPU out of turbo mode.

Verify CPU speed using this tool (CPU-Z)

Might help to open the case up and use an air duster.
