I have an unknown startup app called "Program" which links to the following command line:
"C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\AD2F1837.OMENCommandCenter_9.4.7.0_x64__v10z8vjag6ke6\win32\Streamer\omen.exe app_silent=1".
I have currently disabled this startup app, but I believe it is an error and would like to remove the offending app/fragment/process/file. I've seen recommendations to edit the registry, but haven't gone that route yet.
I saw another post on this subject (which for some reason I couldn't reply to) and the solution was to uninstall/restart/re-install Omen Command Center. I've done this and the startup entry is still present.
Any suggestions?

@bathomassr
Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
- Right-click on an empty area on the Taskbar and select Task Manager. Step 2 When Task Manager comes up, click the Startup tab and look through the list of programs that are enabled to run during startup. Then to stop them from running, right-click the program and select Disable
- The Microsoft System Configuration (msconfig) tool is a Microsoft software application used to change configuration settings, such as which software opens with Windows. It contains several useful tabs: General, Boot, Services, Startup, and Tools. Opening MSConfig to troubleshoot software issues in Windows 10 and 8
- In Windows, type MSConfig into Search, and then select System Configuration from the search results in Windows 10, or msconfig in Windows 8.
- The System Configuration window opens.
