Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

Check the BIOS for this setting.

 

Or you could look at Omen Command Center.

 

You can permanently disable the front LED as follows:

 

Shut down the PC and disconnect the PC from AC power. Depress and hold down the power button a few times to drain residual MB power.

 

Remove the left side panel. Remove the front bezel.

 

Unplug the wire coming from the front bezel to the MB at the MB connection.
