Hi @Kaynx,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you've already tried updating drivers and performing a hard reset without success, there may be a few other troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Check cables: Make sure all cables connecting your monitor to your computer are securely connected. Sometimes loose connections can cause display issues.
- Test with another device: Try connecting the monitor to another device, such as a different computer or a laptop, to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem lies with the monitor or the original computer.
- Factory reset: Sometimes a hard reset may not fully resolve the issue. Check if your monitor has an option for a factory reset in its menu settings. Performing a factory reset will revert all settings back to their original defaults.
- Check for physical damage: Inspect the monitor for any physical damage or signs of wear that may be affecting its performance.
By following these steps, you may be able to diagnose and resolve the issue with your HP monitor's auto adjustment and screen position.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
