I have the Hp Omen 30L GT13-0014, I recently updated the bios to the newest version and was wondering how I could access the advanced settings to change fan speeds and memory speeds for my RAM and new GPU I installed in the unit.

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Some newer HP MBs support memory overclocking, older HP MBs don't.

Have you poked around in the BIOS to see what's happening?

It is sometimes possible to overclock the memory using Omen Command Center.

You have an AMD MB. You might be able to overclock the memory using Ryzen Master.

You could try to overclock the graphics card using MSI Afterburner.

I have never seen a HP consumer PC that does custom fan curves.

Yes I have looked in the bios and I have no options like I’ve seen on others. Here’s attached a picture of the bios I’m trying to get my hands on to change the frequency of my RAM cards to match their speed. Yet I don’t have the advanced tab option in my bios.

Thanks for the image.

I suggest you back up data or do a system image backup before making any changes to your operating system.

Well, I guess you should try Ryzen Master for memory overclocking. The download link is in my previous response.

MSI Afterburner should allow you to tweak the new graphics card. The download link is in my previous response.

I don't believe there is much you can do about the fans. Fan Control is free fan control software you could try.

But I recall seeing a thread in this Forum stating "Fan Control" could not talk to the Forum members HP MB.

Your mileage may vary.

I had the same result with Fan Control. I think I’m gonna do an AsRock B550M Pro4 motherboard swap with a X3D, the 5070ti and RM750e power supply. I’d rather be able to have full control rather than a program. But I might try out AMD Master to see if I can gain any performance. I appreciate the help, you’ve been great

My pleasure.

It's your call. But I would also do a new: Mid-Tower ATX retail case/ ATX MB combo to eliminate any possible HP 30L case compatibility problems.

Doing this will expand future graphics card upgrade options. You could run a triple fan, triple slot GPU monster in a ATX case when paired with the correct power supply! 🤣

Let the Forum how the upgrade goes.

You will probably need a new Windows product key after doing the Asrock MB.

I just did an Asrock B850 MB build. Things went well.

That’s awesome and I thought about it, and that’s definitely the move in a few years and do the swap to am5. I got a crazy deal on marketplace for a 5800X3D and micro center has the 5070ti for $429 right now. So I’m gonna jump on that. Best Buy also has a deal on the RM750E for $100. I got 32Gb of ram, and i definitely wanna upgrade my NVME drive to 1tb or more as well. All in all i should be into it under $700. What’s the best place to get a product key? I’m on windows 11

Yes, a 5800X3D and a 5070 Ti would be a very good gaming PC.

The best (safest) place to get a Windows product key is Microsoft, But Microsoft Windows product keys are very expensive.

I just bought quite a few W11 Pro Retail product keys at Electronic First for new PC builds after touching base with @NonSequitur777.

The product keys at this site are unbelievably inexpensive. I don't know how this site is selling W11 product keys, and profiting, at a fraction of the price Microsoft charges. It's seems to be great site if you build a lot of PCs.

At this time I would give this site two thumbs up.

It's a caveat emptor situation. But, so far, I've had no activation problems with the products key purchased at Electronic First. And Windows Slmgr confirms a full Retail Product key.

But you mileage may vary.

@Bill_To,

Correct: I purchased over ten Windows 11 Pro product keys from Electronic First, and these keys are indeed legit -and actually affordable.

Kind Regards,
