Hp Omen 30L GT13-0280z CTO CPU upgrade options

I have an Omen 30L Ryzen (Moria Mobo) GT13-0280z CTO.  I'd like to upgrade to a 5th gen AMD Ryzen CPU, like a Ryzen 7 5700G or R5 5600X.  I believe this mobo only supports 65w CPUs, but I was wondering if anyone knows if that's accurate, and if the BIOS supports the 5th Gen CPUs (I have upgraded to the latest BIOS offered through the HP Support App).  I'm out of warranty, so I can no longer contact HP support directly with these questions without a fee as I understand it.  Any help is much appreciated.  Thanks!

if not in the list, and / or the different dtp, it may not work, bios up to date or not!

Interesting, so none of the BIOS updates have allowed the use of 5th gen Ryzen CPUs?  I suppose the Omen 30Ls currently on offer with 5th Gen Ryzen CPUs use a different motherboard, such as the GT13-1380z?  Seems silly.

Not sure what you mean by "no more information for your update"?  The BIOS update details are pretty sparse on info, I assumed there was probably more going on that just some LED enhancements, but you never know.  Any idea what the mobo for the 1380z is?  I haven't been able to find that information.  If it's a Moria3 also, then that would mean an upgrade path is likely, no?
