Hi @R8yad ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you’ve already tried a lot of great troubleshooting steps. Here are a few additional things you can try to resolve the issue with your HP OMEN 40L:
Check for Driver Issues:
- Make sure all your drivers are up to date, especially for the GPU, chipset, and other critical components. Sometimes a driver conflict can cause unexpected restarts.
Inspect Event Viewer:
- Open Event Viewer (search for it in the Start menu) and check the System and Application logs around the time of the restarts. Look for any critical errors or warnings that could give you a clue about what's causing the problem.
Examine Power Settings:
- Go to Control Panel > Power Options and ensure your power plan settings are configured correctly. Sometimes power-saving settings can cause instability.
Run a Memory Test:
- Even though you’ve replaced the RAM, it’s worth running a full memory test to rule out any potential issues. You can use Windows Memory Diagnostic or MemTest86.
Check for Overheating:
- Ensure that the CPU and GPU are not overheating, even though you've replaced the cooler.
Verify BIOS Settings:
- Double-check your BIOS settings. Sometimes incorrect settings can cause instability. You might also want to update the BIOS to the latest version available for your motherboard.
Check for Faulty Hardware: HP PCs - Testing for hardware failures
- Although you've replaced many components, consider testing each part individually in another system if possible. Sometimes issues can be subtle and affect only specific scenarios.
Look for Windows Updates:
- Ensure that your Windows 11 installation is fully up to date. Sometimes specific updates can fix underlying issues.
Examine Power Supply:
- The power supply unit (PSU) could be causing instability. If you have a spare PSU that’s known to be good, try swapping it out to see if it resolves the problem.
Review Software and Background Processes:
- Sometimes third-party software or background processes can cause instability. Try performing a clean boot to see if the issue persists.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
