I am trying to update the BIOS to my motherboard, because I am upgrading the CPU in my PC. The CPU needs updated BIOS to work correctly, and I am looking for my products BIOS section to download the update. I have been searching for about 30 minutes and all it's said is "This should take 3 minutes". I'm beginning to lose hope with the amount of time I've waited. Is there a way somebody can just give me the link to the BIOS for my computer? Or is my computer's bios update locked away in a vault that's inaccessible from human contact?

Hi @KingCreb
Using GT11-0000a, it appears you have the AMD Moria3 MB, MB SSID 87C3. HP included CPU support at the factory for the following CPUs:
R5 3500
R5 3600
R7 3700X
R9 3900
However, an Intel Dorado MB is also listed as a MB option. GT11-0000a indicates an AMD MB, a GT11-xxxxi should indicate an Intel MB. I don't know what you have?? I could be way off base due to conflicting information provided by HP. Or my understanding on what the "a" designation in the product group name means is incorrect.
The Dorado MB SSID is 8704. The BIOS update for this Intel MB can be accessed at this Site.
You will have to check HP System Information or Windows System Information to verify the MB (Moria3 or Dorado).
The latest BIOS update for the Moria3 MB SSID can be reviewed Here. The "Fixes" section at this HP site does not reflect support for additional CPUs.
HP's BIOS updates, on many consumer PCs, don't include additional CPU support. So the new CPU (guessing you are looking at a Zen 3 CPU) may not be detected even after you apply this BIOS update.
The B450 chipset and AM4 socket included in the Moria3 MB will support AMD Zen 3 CPUs with the correct BIOS.
