Product: HP 27xq Gaming monitor

I can not seem to get my HP 27xq monitor to run at 120hz through my PS5. I have trawled the support pages and can't seem to find a fix. I am aware that my monitor is not a 4k monitor but I should be able to get 1080p at 120hz (playing Warzone mainly)

 

I have brought a dummy hdmi adapter (£3 off Amazon) that apparently works but won't know until tomorrow. 

 

 

 

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Have you tried to connect using a HDMI v2. cable ?
