HI @hahno,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I understand your Omen PC’s lighting was working normally but has recently stopped responding in Omen Gaming Hub, and the app now shows “no lighting devices detected.” Let’s go through a few steps to identify and fix the issue.

Check Physical Connections

Make sure the lighting board’s cable is firmly connected to the motherboard and the power supply.

Gently unplug and re-seat the connector to ensure it’s not loose.

Confirm that no pins are bent or damaged.

Power Cycle the PC

Shut down the PC completely.

Unplug the power cable from the wall and press and hold the power button for 15 seconds to discharge residual power.

Plug the power cable back in and power on the PC.

Verify BIOS Settings

Restart the PC and enter the BIOS/UEFI (usually by pressing Esc or F10 at startup).

Check if there’s an option for “LED Lighting” or “Omen Lighting” and ensure it’s enabled.

Save and exit BIOS.

Update Omen Gaming Hub & Related Drivers

Open the Microsoft Store and make sure Omen Gaming Hub is fully updated.

Go to Windows Update → Advanced Options → Optional Updates and install any available updates, especially for system devices or firmware.

Reboot after updates are installed.

Reinstall Omen Light Studio Plugin

Open Omen Gaming Hub → Lighting → confirm that Omen Light Studio is installed.

If not, install it; if it’s already installed, uninstall and reinstall it.

Restart your PC after reinstalling.

Check for Conflicting Apps

If you’re using any third-party RGB software (like iCUE, Aura Sync, or MSI Mystic Light), temporarily uninstall them.

These apps can sometimes override or block Omen’s lighting controls.

I hope this helps.
