Hi, i have 8GB DDR4 installed in my HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1xxx and I wanna upgrade my RAM up to 16GB. Can you give me some tips for purchasing a compatible module with mine?
My module is a Micron with this series: DDR4 8GB 1RX16 PC4-3200AA-UC0-11 (screenshot below)
Thank you!!

If you're after the second, matching item to make a pair... Did you look up the model name - as shown on the label?
MTA4ATF1G64AZ-3G2E1
Plenty of these available on the Internet - depending where you're based. For example:

@Lou6977 , welcome to the Community.
What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant. Once I have this information, I will help your further.

Well, you get what you pay for... You wanted matching pair and possibly safe peace of mind, you have one.
If you search around, you may find it available cheaper - that was just cursory check?
I did buy my matching 8GB module the same way in Jan 2017, when I got my Omen, and I bought it from German shop as it was available only there - and I have to say price was ~the same then...

I checked everywhere in internet.. found an italian dealer (i'm from Italy, Sardinia) and price was even higher 😄
I don't know but at the minute your advices seem to be the most affordables. Thank you for now!

You may want to investigate other scenarios, i.e. buying matching new 8GB+8GB pair, perhaps it's cheaper? Or buying 8GB module which would be close enough and hopefully work (not necessarily in dual-channel mode, but is this really that relevant?). If you can return to the shop and have enough free time, then you may want to pursue this avenue...
I had the same dilemmas back then and for the sake of easiness and time simply decided to pursue this rather expensive option myself. Needless to say that both modules are alike (same characteristics, production dates spaced only by 6 weeks if memory serves) and I never had any troubles with them (approaching year 5 of my ownership).
