Hi I want to Upgrade My HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop Computer Processor?

from a Model: AMD Ryzen 3 5300G, to a Model: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X,

is my HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop Motherboard Compatible with the AMD

Your MB's chipset and CPU socket (Erica6) would support a 3600X. But HP has to code the BIOS to see the 3600X. The 3600X is not on the list at the previous MB specs link.

 

You would have to check for a HP BIOS update that includes support for Ryzen 3000 series CPUs. Very unusual for HP to provide additional CPU support for consumer PCs. I use either a 3900X or a 5900X on a retail B550 MB. Had to update the BIOS to get 5900X support.

 

My anecdotal experience suggest the 3600X may not work with your MB. Try it if you can return the CPU to the retailer for a refund.

 

Check this Site for a side by side comparison of both CPUs.
