Windows 10 (64-bit)
OMEN by HP Desktop PC 880-p1xx
Tampa2 motherboard?
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz, 3701 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
Ram 2x8 stick
Hello I bought a Omen pre-built PC ( I am not sure if mine but seems extremely similar as the link so sorry if its wrong) years ago but requirements have been catching up to this old rig. I am not very knowledgeable with PC or much tec stuff, so I was hoping someone might be able to help recommend some parts I can upgrade with and does not break the bank. I want to mostly try and upgrade the Ram and Graphics card if possible but I do not know what I can use because of compatibility/power requirements.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

@Brosiff , welcome to the Community.
What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant. Once I have this information I will help you further.

You are running the fastest processor for your rig already, you got sufficient RAM for gaming, and you GPU is very decent too.
The only thing I would strongly recommend, assuming you don't have it yet, is to consider buying an M.2 NVMe SSD card and making that your primary/boot drive. You'll be amazed how much difference that may make! ["individual performance may vary"] A very decent 500GB M.2 NVMe SSD card can be purchased around $50, for example here: Amazon.com: PNY CS1030 500GB M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen3 x4 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - M280CS1030-500...

Hope this helps.

Thank you for the input! and I will look into it. I know I need more ram and such for some of the modded games and other things I enjoy. Watching a game chug/freeze is not much fun and looking into new graphics card because games are starting to ramp up in requirements and I do not want to be twiddling my thumbs because my rig is lacking in a couple of moths or a year or two.

When you increase RAM, and to keep costs down, I would suggest you would get the EXACT same 2 x8GB RAM brand/product number RAM sticks you already have to fill up the two empty RAM slots.
