HP Omen 25L

Hi - my son has an HP Omen 25L gaming PC with SSD capacity of 256GB and HDD of 1TB. He wants to increase this storage capacity so he can download some more games, so I’m looking to do that: presumably increasing the HDD capacity is the most cost-effective way of doing this unless there is a compelling argument for doing both, so I’m looking to buy additional storage for him and (importantly!) understand how I actually install it!

What is your Omen 25L ? For example

               OMEN 25L GT11-1466no

Looks like your machine has 256GB of M.2 NVMe SSD and 1TB of normal HDD. Some games require Primary storage therefore you need "big" primary drive. In this cases you have to increase 256GB to larger (capacity) drive. You can replace 256GB to 1TB or 2TB using M.2 NVMe SSD, for example (or similar)
