Hello,

I want to buy :

HP Omen 17-ck1020nr 17.3" IPS FHD 165Hz (i7-12700H/16GB/512GB SSD/GeForce RTX 3070 Ti/W11 Home) (US Keyboard)

But I need to know before I buy it how many SSD m2 slots does have and what gen those slots support.

Hi:

 

HP only has the service manual for the older 17-ck0xxx model series on the 17-ck1xxx support page.

 

OMEN 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop PC 17-ck1000 (509W3AV) Manuals | HP® Customer Support

 

According to that manual the notebook has two M.2 SSD slots.

 

You can see the location of the M.2 SSD's in chapter 5, on page 33.

 

This manual indicates that the primary SSD slot is Gen 4, and the secondary Gen 3.

 

That may have changed in the newer model series, but I can't say for sure.

 

The specs for the model series just indicates PCIe Gen 4 SSD's are supported.
