Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Upgraded to windows 11, caused something to fail on launch of games. Immediately went to black screen, loss of signal to monitor, causing a hard reset the only way to turn off and restart.occur. At this point all drivers were op to date. Tried launching games by steam only at recommended resolution. Would load all the way to start screen. Hit the continue game, new game , load game etc. nothing worked game would start ;load to 100% then black screen. Tried everything  except swapping gpu, psu, and applying new thermal paste.

Now this computer is a year old and is bricked due to an overnight update, this computer only played games. Had no issues with running max ultra high settings before updates. 3060ti should be well enough to run majority of games out. With ease.

I reverted back to windows 10 thinking it worked before updates. But the black screen still occurred.

Amongst the huge archives of years of crashes I found one article that allowed me to open and play a game without instant crash.

it was a suggestion to play at 1360x768 resolution.

I’m writing this in case someone else is having issues and to see if this works for them. The second.reason is why did my gpu lose uhd capabilities? But will run with the above setting, had to set it for display and game.

thanks for your time,

@Mike202475 , welcome to the Community.

The only solution that I can suggest is reinstalling one of the games to see if that corrects the situation.  Sometimes upgrading to a new OS can cause glitches for no apparent reason.
