I have the sims 4 on my laptop. And recently it began lagging and freezing when it was running just fine in August. I'm trying to figure out if this laptop is getting too old to play any games on. I know its not a gaming laptop. And the sims 4 is the only game I have downloaded on it. The local disk has 183 GB free out of 296 GB and i have a USB hard drive with nothing on it that's 30GB. And I do have a few other problems with this laptop. It won't let me update to windows 11. I don't know if it's compatible with that. It looks like it started off with Windows 7 and it might still be windows 7 or it might be windows 8. I don't know how to figure that out. It says intel inside CORE i7 vPro on a sticker as well. I bought it refurbished, And it use to wirelessly connect to my Wi-Fi but it stopped connecting randomly one morning like six months ago. I've ran an anti-virus software and it picks up no Virus . I have a cleaner on it, and it never detects anything. Is it just time for a new laptop?
