OMEN 870-119

I’m looking to upgrade my 870-119 desktop to make it VR-ready. The graphics card in my model, the 960, isn’t powerful enough for VR, so I’m eyeing a GTX 1660 Super. I cannot find any info on if it is compatible or not. Is the 1660 Super compatible with my model, and if not, are there any alternatives?

Hello @Zelefant

The card technically is compatible with your PC. But you need to always look up the length of the new card and compare the available space inside the PC case when it will go, to make sure it has enough room.

Those cards require a min 500w PSU which yours should have already.

Make sure the PSU has the required power connector (8 pin?) available too.

You will have to keep an eye out for heat issues since that new card most likely does not exhaust the hot air out the back of it.
