Victus by HP 15L Gaming Desktop PC TG02-0000i (491A7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

Hello HP Community,

I am encountering an issue with my HP Victus 15L desktop after performing an update to the Omen Gaming Hub through the Windows Store. After the update and reboot, I noticed that the lighting on my desktop remained on despite having set it to "off" in the Omen Gaming Hub.

Here is a detailed overview of the issue:

  1. System Details:

    • Model: HP Victus 15L
    • Software: Omen Gaming Hub v1101.2412.9.0 (updated via Windows Store)
    • Operating System: Windows 11 23H2 (OS Build 22631.4751)
    •
  2. Expected Behavior: The lights should be completely turned off immediately.

  3. Actual Behavior: Despite setting the lighting to "off" within Omen Gaming Hub and restarting the computer, the lights on my HP Victus 15L desktop remain on. When I check the Omen Gaming Hub again, the lighting setting is still set to "off," but the lights do not reflect this change.

  4. Troubleshooting:

    • I have confirmed that the issue persists after multiple reboots.
    • I attempted to check for additional settings within the Omen Gaming Hub, but the problem remains unresolved.
    • I ensured that all drivers and software are up-to-date, including the latest Omen Gaming Hub version.

Could anyone provide advice or solutions regarding this issue? I would appreciate guidance on how to restore the functionality of the lighting settings or if there are any additional steps I need to take after the update.

Thank you in advance for your help!

HP has released a new version of the Omen Gaming Hub (v1101.2412.10.0), which should resolve the issue with the lighting settings. I updated to the latest version, and the problem is now fixed for me. If you're experiencing the same issue, I recommend updating the app. Thanks to everyone who helped!

Same here....Lights NOT working after update....Reistalled Gaming Hub several times and re-booted to no avail.

Give at least a way to rollback..

Also having the same issue. I restarted, uninstalled, updated, power cycled. HP support now wants me to physically open the computer and reseat the headers on the RGB lights to the motherboard.

Edited to add i also reseated the header for the RBG light, issue persists. Dont let them waste your time like they wasted mine.

I recommend contacting HP Support for further assistance. The issue seems to be with the latest version of the Omen Gaming Hub, as many users are reporting similar problems after the update.
