Hey. I just bought HP Victus 16 with RTX 4060, R7 7840HS, 16GB 5600MHZ RAM. I optimized it as much as I can and I can get really nice fps in games (for example 420-510 in Fortnite) and in other games too. The problem is I wanted to plug external monitor in to disable optimus, but when i tried doing it in Discrete mode which should have better performance I couldn't do it, because when i clicked in nvidia control panel i had laptop igpu and gpu name. Now, i came back to hybrid mode, disabled igpu in device manager because i couldn't do it in other way and now i have in PsyhX nvidia control panel monitor which goes to nvidia rtx 4060. BUT i don't have any improvement in fps which is shocking, i had nice performance boost on old laptop and i dont know why this happened with this hp victus. Is the issue that my hdmi port is on right side of laptop instead of left? If thats an issue, should i buy usb c to hdmi converter? I dont know what to do, please help, i will answer every question related with it.
