@Andy2681,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Please try if you can restore your BIOS default settings:

1.) Turn off your desktop and wait five seconds.
2.) Press the power button to start your PC and repeatedly tap the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
3.) On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
4.) Press F10 to Save and Exit.
5.) Use the arrow keys to select Yes, and then hit Enter when asked: Exit Saving Changes?
6.) Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

If this works, please see if you can update your BIOS as shown in this link: HP Consumer Desktop PCs - Updating the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) (Windows) | HP® Customer Sup....

Next, perform the hard drive symptom test in HP PC Hardware Diagnostics UEFI as spelled out under #3 in this link: HP PCs - Hard disk 3F0 boot device not found error | HP® Customer Support, followed by reinstalling Windows on your primary drive (see #4).

Kind Regards,

NonSequitur777
