Hi @CactusDead
Welcome to the HP Forum.
This HP Site details memory upgrade options for your PC's MB.
I see conflicting info at this site. One section states your PC supports 4 GB and 8 GB modules. A different section at this site states the MB supports up to 32 GBs of memory. Well, that would mean the MB supports two 16 GB memory modules.
Check Crucial Memory for, according to Crucial, guaranteed memory module upgrades. Crucial has a Memory Scanner.
I don't know if Crucial memory modules will run at 3200 MHz.
@NonSequitur777 would have additional memory upgrade options in addition to Crucial Memory.
Regards

Thank you, @Bill_To.
Not all RAM is created equal for your HP - Compaq Pavilion Gaming TG01-1000a, and be aforewarned that this desktop is quite finnicky when it comes to RAM and achieving best RAM performance.
So, is your desktop fitted with an Erica3 (SSID: 87D6) or a Baker (SSID: 8767) motherboard?
That matters a lot, because the Erica3 motherboard-based model is able to achieve 3200 MHz RAM speed, whereas a Baker motherboard-based model somehow gets stuck at 2933 MHz -for reasons I don't understand.
Then again, looking at "HP System Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-1xxx" benchmarks here, I found a single (as in one) exception to this rule: a Baker motherboard running two different 16GB RAM sticks (Crucial CT16G4DFRA32A.C16FN and Hynix HMA82GU6CJR8N-XN) at 3200 MHz. -I would really like to know how they did that!
Moving on, according to Crucial, they claim that your HP - Compaq Pavilion Gaming TG01-1000a can be fitted with up to 2 x 32GB of DDR4 PC4-25600, 3200 MHz, Non-ECC, Unbuffered, DIMM (UDIMM), 288-pin RAM sticks. And indeed, that is true: Crucial CT32G4DFD832A.M16FF 2x32GB on a Baker motherboard running at 2933 MHz. Perhaps this RAM will run at 3200 MHz if you happen to have an Erica3 motherboard.
The answer to what 2x8GB RAM you should upgrade to, is actually quite easy: looking through hundreds of benchmarks, this RAM option stands out above the rest: 2x8GB Hynix HMA81GU6CJR8N-XN. Go with that RAM option.
Other outstanding RAM upgrade options:
Crucial CT16G4DFRA32A.M16FR 2x16GB
Samsung M378A2G43AB3-CWE 2x16GB
Samsung M378A2K43CB1-CTD 2x16GB
I was hesitating even to bring it up, but here is another oddball RAM example: 2x16GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3600 C18 clocked at 3534 MHz on an Erica3 motherboard: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/53633504.
In other words, there must be a way to manipulate RAM speeds on your gaming platform, but it appears to be a closely held secret, since very few Users have been able to figure it out...
Kind Regards,
NonSequitur777
