I've been using an Ethernet connection for over 2 years now, and one day, the Ethernet drivers simply just disappeared. I haven't changed anything for them, they just disappeared out of nowhere. I am no longer able to use an Ethernet connection because of this, even though the lights near the Ethernet cable are still lighting up.
I've tried to install the LAN drivers on the HP Support page, however the installation program just crashes when command prompt opens up and no drivers get installed. (|Info|Attempt to execute c:\SWSetup\SP135914\install.cmd..." and then it closes)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Sawsk
What is happening in Control Panel, Device Manager?
No Realtek Ethernet adapter listed in Control Panel could suggest the hardware has failed.
This would be a MB problem.
I can't find any MB info for your PC. If the integrated Realtek ethernet adapter has failed and you have an open PCIe x1 slot on the MB you can buy a PCIe Ethernet adapter to fix the problem.
Or back up data. Do a refresh or a clean Windows install. Same problem after doing this would verify a hardware failure.
