Hi
The AMD B550A supports a 5700X.
But HP would have to update the BIOS to support this processor.
This site: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06418627 lists possible CPUs validated by HP.
You would have to check your specific product to see if HP has released a BIOS update which adds support for AMD 5000 series CPS.
I found a link to the latest BIOS for your MB https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-pavilion-gaming-desktop-pc-tg01-0000a/...
The fixes section does not show additional support for newer Ryzen CPUs.
