Hi Guys,

I need some advice from you.

I want to swap out my motherboard since the stock one does not have extra PCIe slots. I need an extra slot to install a capture card.

Any recommendations on options to consider and advice on upgrade limitations will be highly appreciated.

Thanks

@iChrisMomanyi , welcome to the Community.

HP has their motherboards made to their specifications.  Therefore, it is difficult to know which third-party boards will fit their cases.  The two major concerns are the holes in the new motherboard matching the stand-offs in the case and the front connectors being compatible.

I suggest that you choose a motherboard manufacturer and contact their Tech Support for help with choosing the best board for you case.  They are the experts on their products and normally know which cases are compatible with their boards.  This will save you time, money and frustration.
