Hi @kavizhere

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Newer Intel and AMD CPUs are power hungry and generate a lot of heat. Both CPU manufacturers claim their CPUs are designed to run this way for long periods of time.

Your CPU is right on the edge of thermal throttling.

I would not want to push my CPU close to its limits on a continuous basis.

You have to decide if 100 degree C temps when gaming are acceptable.

I under volt a Ryzen 7900X and set a thermal limit of 85 degrees C on my Asus MB with minimal loss of performance. I'm only losing about 100 MHz on all CPU cores.

HP MBs don't provide BIOS CPU overclocking options so you may need a better CPU cooler and/or more case airflow to reduce CPU temps. Your graphics card may be adding more heat to the internal environment.

Regards
