I want to replace with a larger HDD. I'm new to SSD; can I add both? If so, how much? Processor is 9th gen i5 9400

Hi,

 

This HP site (Link) provides component options. The motherboard supports one NVME drive and the operating system supports larger capacity HDDs in addition to NVME drives.

 

This HP site (Link) provides no details on the factory hardware configuration. Look at "Product Information". This means I don't know what you have now. You could have a NVME drive containing the operating system and a 2 TB HDD for data.

 

You can install a NVME PCIe type SSD drive as the system disk if your PC currently only has a 2 TB HDD.  You would have to move the operating system to this disk.

 

You can install or upgrade the current HDD to a higher capacity disk. You would have to move the operating system to this disk if you have no NVME drive now.
