Microsoft Windows 11

I bought OMEN gaming 16 laptop on December 2024. My laptop CPU INTEL 13th generation i7 , my GPU is Nvidia RTX 4060 and my RAM is 16 GB.The problem I'm having is if I play any games my CPU temperature goes more than 92 Celcius and my GPU temperature goes more than 82 Celcius. When I try test all my hardwares through BIOS they showed everything is fine so I still don't knows why is my laptop temperature keeps on going high.

Greetings @MaheshSathivel

Laptop gaming has come a long way. But controlling component temps can be challenging.

Your PC's CPU temps at 92 Celsius are somewhat toasty. And GPUs tend to throttle at 82 degrees Celsius.

Laptops are inherently heat machines when high powered components are packed into a very small space having limited airflow.

Games will hit both components much harder when compared to a diagnostics test. So the HP diagnostic test results would be reliable; everything is working as it should be.

Have you tried using the Power Saver plan in Control Panel>Power options?

Check Omen Command Center for performance tweaks to reduce CPU and GPU power levels to control temps.

You might be able to control power levels and hence, temps using MSI Afterburner and Intel XTU. I don't use either.

I do use MSI Afterburner and Riva Tuner for the performance overlay while gaming.

My Desktop GPU hits about 70 C when gaming (I have good Desktop case airflow). I also control CPU power levels and temps on my retail MBs (Asus, MSI, and Gigabyte) using BIOS settings.

Reducing component power levels will somewhat negatively impact game performance but the components will last longer.

Regards
