Product: Hp omen 25L

I’ve been trying to play games with my friends but every now and the game will sort of just pause and then I’ll have to click to get back into it. Games have also crashed because of the problem. It started last night I’m pretty sure I was trying to start Steam so I clicked a few times but it just kept loading. I thought about the idea of uninstalling Steam if that’s what my PC is trying to run but it also won’t let me press the Windows key to uninstall it or open settings. For some reason every other application will open but settings so I can’t really uninstall anything. I really want help this has been really annoying
