Microsoft Windows 11

I need to know what type of NVMe M.2 drive the Victus line of gaming desktops comes with. I have called every number and emailed every email I can find for support but no one seems to understand the concept of what I'm asking. I keep being told the same thing and yes, I already know that they come in different form factors and key types. I need to know SPECIFICALLY what kind they ship with. The generic term "256 gb nvme m.2 ssd" tells me nothing.

Hi @Jbales8990

Thanks for the additional info.

I can't provide additional assistance as HP does not provide detailed component info. I know as much as you do.

The drives should be NVME Gen 3 or Gen 4 PCIe x4 drives. I would not know read and write specs.

Try contacting a HP sales agent again for assistance.

I don't think anyone in this forum can provide more info on the drives.

Regards

Hi @Jbales8990

Download the Zip version of Crystal Disk Info at this Site.

Unzip and run the 64 bit version to check all installed drives in your PC for details.

This software should give you lots of drive info.

Apologies, I should've specified more. Yes that would be an excellent resource however I do not have these PC's yet. They are stuck "In Queue". I ordered several and they are much behind schedule. I was planning on buying a few spare drives to clone after I get these pc's setup and configured which is why I need to know what type of drives they come with and if they are compatible with my drive duplicator. Normally, this wouldn't be an issue as I would just check when they come in but due to being pushed back so far the estimated delivery date is the day before we are scheduled to have the grand opening of our teen gaming center. I'm the only IT guy here so it would be really, really helpful if I could plan ahead and have everything ready to go.

Thanks, I appreciate your time and help. I may have to just guess based off gen 3/4 standards. I spent about 6 hours on the phone today with support being bounced around from person to person and never could find anything out.
