Need power cable for CD Rom

Just bought this second hand and the CD rom doesn't work, checked the cables and the power cable is missing. Where can I buy a new one?

Are you sure it's the power cable?
The latter must be directly connected to the power supply.

Thanks for your comment and the link to the video, if you watch the video the two cables are pointed out where they attach to the optical drive. On my machine the top black and red power cable is not there, I have taken the computer apart and it is not in the case anywhere. 'Why would someone do that?' you may ask as I did when i first realised, I have no idea.

Ok so I have looked again and the power supply is a Corsair RM 750x and not the original one from HP, this is where I made my mistake of thinking the cable wasn't included but the original power supply would have been hardwired to the unit.

The RM 750x is all plug in cables, been looking on the website but cannot see one that would fit for the sata slimline optical drive.

see what the hp agent's answer can do for you, but if the power supply is not original, it may not be possible
That's what I was thinking, either the power supply has been replaced or something very odd has been done!
Otherwise, you would have to find an additional adapter cable to connect to one of the cables available on this power supply box
I tried to see in the video what it looks like, but even at the removal part of the power supply, I can't distinguish well, I can't see if it's a particular cable
or for example, one like this

Yes the PSU was swapped from what I can see to the Corsair RM 750x, the cable you sent the link to would work but I would need an adapter for the Molex connector to a 15 pin SATA that the Corsair PSU would connect to. It takes a six pin connection so something like this. 10mm Mini Male 6Pin to 2 SATA 15pin Power supply Cable for Modular PSU | eBay

I would still need an adapter from the 15 pin SATA to the 4 pin Molex.

The following is the closest I can find which is almost what I need but is a four pin to 6 pin mini SATA but needs to be a five pin to connect to the Corsair PSU.

I'm waiting on a message I sent to HP but I may just have to make a connector to suit the 4 pin Molex.

I can't help you I think to find the right one
but looking like you did you should be fine I think..
The price is not very high for this type of cable, can be no big deal if you make a mistake
Depending on what is available on your power supply, you certainly have several possible options.
