HP Pavilion Gaming Desktop TG01-2003w
Microsoft Windows 11

I’m new to PCs in general and ordered a PG desktop, it may have been handled roughly in shipping. When I try to boot it up after plugging the power cord from the outlet to the wall and pressing the power button something seems to turn on because my RGB keyboard starts to glow, but just as quickly as it turned on it turns off without sending any image through the hdmi to my monitor or any of the fans starting. I have no idea where to go from here but I removed the side panel and it looks like everything is in place.

I removed the CMAS (I think that’s how it’s spelled) battery. After waiting 2 minutes, plugging everything back in I get, no video, no fans, but my RGB keyboard remains on even though I get no response from the PC.

Hello @GavinGosart

If you have no experience with computers you should ask a friend/acquaintance who is good with computers. Power supply, RAM, hard drive, all cable connections, CPU/fan and graphics card must be checked for correct connection.

Do not turn on the computer again until everything has been checked.

Do not break your head, if it starts so badly ..
brand new computer, it does not work, it needs to be fixed
so depending on the place of purchase, try the exchange directly / replacement / refund!
If purchased from hp directly (HP online store) then contact hp after sales service, don't waste time with that!
