Product: Omen By HP Desktop Intel Core i5- 8GB memory- Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060- 1TB Hard Drive
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

So i recently switched cases on my Omen pc and everything is working fine except i cannot connect to my wifi wirelessly their is a grey star over the wifi symbol and sometimes a yellow triangle i’ve watched numerous videos on youtube and all didn’t work so i thought i’d come here for some help, thank you.

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

Using a retail chassis with a HP motherboard can cause problems.

 

There is usually a HP chassis WIFI antenna which provides connectivity to the WIFI card installed in your PC. The retail case is not going to have this connection.

 

You may have to go with a USB 3.0 WIFI dongle or get a PCIe WIFI adapter to use WIFI.
