Hello, my problem is that my fps is lower in almost every game with the same settings as on my old machine, which has an Rtx 2060 and almost the weakest Ryzen 5 processor, the ram is also weaker, the only difference is win 10 is on it.
Pc Specs:

-Rtx 3070 8gb

-Ryzen 7 5700G

-2x8GB DDr4 Ram

-Win 11

The RAM/CPU/GPU were also under stress, there were no problems, diagnostics were also run, but there were no problems. Valorant 160-180 max fps, as soon as I start hitting something else, or it just randomly drops below 100 or even 50-70, on my old machine the fps is stable from 220 to 300, it doesn't even drop below 220.

I've already looked through all the possible problems, I looked for a similar problem on reddit, they write cpu upgrade, but that doesn't explain in any way that a much weaker machine produces much more fps in every game than this one.

I haven't tried the installation on Windows 10 alone, but if I don't get a solution for this in the next few days, I will do a full format and install Win 10, it's worth a try, but since there are a lot of things on my computer at the moment, I didn't want to try it, and I don't want to install win 10 without formatting.

I appreciate it if you read it and know a solution, thanks in advance.

Furmark result.

Greetings @Weeff

Welcome to the HP Forum.

This could be a tough one to solve; too many variables.

The 3070 is a decent card and it should easily out perform a 2060.

The jury is out with reference to a 5700G CPU. And 16 GBs of RAM is generally doable. 32GBs of RAM may help in some newer triple A games.

How many processes do you see in Task Manager? How many Startup Programs? W11 likes to run many unneeded processes which can adversely impact gaming performance.

Some folks have indicated disabling Core Isolation found in Windows Security improves GPU performance when gaming.

Have you shut down the Microsoft Gaming stuff In Settings>Gaming?

Check GPU specs using GPUZ at this Link to verify the 3070 is performing as expected. Check the GPU BUS Interface by clicking on the "?" in the Graphics card "Tab".

Hello, there are 3 startup programs in total(Uttorent,Riot Game's Vanguard,SecurityHealthSpray). I didn't see any problems with Processes(220), Core Isolation turned on, because many people write that it is not recommended to turn it off because of the many anti-cheats, in Windows, Hardware Accelerate is turned off for Gaming, because I got more fps in the game that way, for me there were stutters and fps drops because of it.

I don't only play new games, but there are quite old ones too, which is why I consider it likely that there is a problem with the machine, as it cannot produce more fps at all than a "much" weaker machine, maybe it doesn't have 32gb of ram, but for a game like Valorant, I don't think the Ram is to blame for not producing enough fps, because with a fixed machine like this, others get a stable 300fps with High Settings in the game while I am at 100-150 with Low Settings.

I will buy another 16GB of RAM in the near future just to be safe.

I have seen several people produce a stable 400-500fps with this combo, without the help of any fancy overclock/undervolt or other boost.

Command Prompt already had measures in relation to the components, nothing is corrupted, everything is fine, I didn't immediately turn here for help, but before that I did "almost" everything I understood and knew, but since it's an hp omen prebuilt machine, I thought I'd rather write a post here , if there was already such a thing, only I didn't get a post about it and there is a solution for it.

There is no bottleneck on the cpu or gpu, no overheating while playing, no 100% usage or too little, bios updated, all drivers updated, there were settings in the control panel, but they didn't help either, Nvidia App Automatic Tuning is turned off because it is not stable and does not produce that much better performance according to previous reviews.

I'm not careless, so the machine isn't sitting in dust, the cpu was last patched half a year ago, no, the problem hasn't been there since then, I just ignored it until now because I didn't play a lot of such games, but now the problem is a bit glaring.

I tried to describe everything in order to reduce the cause of the possible problem, maybe I missed something that I did, but I already tried all the smaller and not very sensitive things, only as I mentioned in the post, I didn't try reinstalling windows to win 10 or just a full format and reinstall 11.

Sorry if my descriptions are a bit long, I just can't explain properly, because I can't figure out what the problem could be.gpi.gif

Greetings @Weeff

220 processes running in Task Manager is, in my opinion, very high.

My W11 PC does about 100 to 110 processes depending on what is happening.

Click on the Bus Interface question mark (?) when CPUZ is running to verify the graphics card can do PCIe x16 4.0.

CPUZ is indicating your card is running at PCIe x16 1.1 at the time you captured the CPUZ image.

Good to see CPUZ states ReBAR is enabled.
