OMEN 30L Desktop PC GT13-1000a (207P7AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I'm not too sure how to fix this issue but I have done everything from running command codes to completely restoring the computer. I even ran some system extensive test but It continues to restart by itself eveytime I start playing any games. I ve been having this problem occasionally for over a year now and it hasn't been bad enough for me to go out of my way to figure out how to fix it but recently it has practically made it impossible to even play without getting the boot mid match which has grown to be very irritating.

What can I do to fix this issue? I'm stuck...😫

Hi @xXSeabeast12Xx

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Windows is configured to restart if the OS is crashing. Your PC may be blue screening Check this Site to change this setting.

Blues screens are usually caused by: system file problems, driver problems, or hardware/thermal problems. It is sometimes possible to use the error code displayed by a blue screen to solve the problem.

Since you have either reset the OS or reinstalled the HP factory image it sounds like you may have a hardware problem.

Any component connected to the MB could be causing the restarts. HP diagnostics may not trigger the hardware event which is causing the restarts. The power supply could be causing the problem in addition to other components.

Check Windows Event Viewer for recurring errors at restart points.

It is not possible to drill down to the cause of this type of error in a Forum sans a specific error code. You may have to remove and swap in various components to isolate the faulty part.

Regards

What would you recommend I do based off the following results in the photos?-

Hi @xXSeabeast12Xx

The critical errors in the first screen shot, Kernel-Power (Event ID 41) would be the restarts. Did you also set Windows to stop at a blue screen error message instead of restarting? This error message would also be helpful.

Since you have restored Windows, which suggests you have reset Windows or reinstalled the HP Windows factory image, this could mean you have a hardware problem if Windows is stable and all drivers are up to date.

I would look at the power supply first. But a different component (CPU, RAM, graphics card, or the MB) could cause this problem. Contact HP Support if in warranty.

It would be difficult to isolate the faulty component in a Forum setting. Have a local PC tech check components to find the bad part. Or you would have to swap in components, one at a time, to find the cause.

Download and run the following software to test the CPU and the graphics card:

CPU, Cinebench R23

Graphics card or CPU, Furmark

Regards
