So I just purchased this case to use as the chassis for my gaming PC and the LED light strip inside and the OMEN light on the front are both not operating correctly. The internal LED strip does not light up at all, and the omen symbol just pulses white. there was very little instruction supplied as to how to set up the RGB board, but I am pretty sure it is set up correctly. I am running windows 11 and I have installed the HP OMEN Gaming Hub and Lighting Hub apps. the apps recognize the chassis but do not actually control the hardware. please help.

Hi @CI2X ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with the lighting functions on your OMEN 45L ATX Case. Let's try a step-by-step troubleshooting process to resolve the problem:
Double-check connections:
- Make sure that all cables connecting the LED strip and the OMEN light to the RGB board are securely plugged in.
- Ensure that the RGB board is properly connected to the motherboard.
Update OMEN Gaming Hub and Lighting Hub:
- Ensure that you have the latest versions of the OMEN Gaming Hub and Lighting Hub apps installed. Check the HP website or the Microsoft Store for updates.
Check for Firmware Updates:
- Visit the HP support website for your specific case model and check for any firmware updates for the RGB board or other relevant components.
Check BIOS/UEFI Settings:
- Enter the BIOS/UEFI settings of your motherboard and confirm that RGB or LED settings are enabled. Some motherboards have separate settings for RGB headers.
Verify Compatibility:
- Confirm that the OMEN 45L ATX Case is compatible with your motherboard. Check the motherboard's manual to ensure that it supports the RGB features of your case.
Reinstall OMEN Apps:
- Uninstall the OMEN Gaming Hub and Lighting Hub apps, then reinstall them. This may help to resolve any potential software issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-

this was not really helpful. it is also not helpful that the HP support site says that it is down every time I try to access it. another thing that is not helpful is that I have owned this case for less than a month and for some reason my customer dashboard says that its out of warranty and when I try to dispute the warranty expiration with my proof of purchase uploaded it takes me to the same site that says " We're sorry. HP Customer Support site is temporarily unavailable. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please check back later." you sold me a case with an expired warranty and a defective RGB controller board, and on top of that you've made it near impossible to get ahold of a real life customer service representative.
