OMEN Audio Control / Bang & Olufsen Audio Control Not Installing – HP OMEN 16 (Serial:Edited) – Windows 11 25H2

Hello HP Support Team,

I am using an HP OMEN 16 (Serial No: CND4201H1Q) running Windows 11 25H2.

I am unable to install or access the Bang & Olufsen Audio Control application for my laptop speakers. Because of this issue, I cannot control the Bang & Olufsen speaker settings such as equalizer and audio enhancements.

The application does not install or does not function properly after installation.

I have already:

  • Updated Windows to the latest version (25H2)

  • Reinstalled audio drivers

  • Restarted the system

Please provide the correct compatible Bang & Olufsen Audio Control driver/software package for my specific device and Windows version, or guide me with the proper resolution steps.

Thank you,
Manish Reddy

Hi @Manish_08,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused and don’t worry let me help you.

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

  • The exact error message you see when trying to install the Bang & Olufsen Audio Control app (if any).
  • Whether the app installs but doesn’t open, or if the installation itself fails.
  • If you are installing it through HP Support Assistant, Microsoft Store, or directly from HP’s driver page.

In the meantime, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  • Check HP Support Assistant: Open HP Support Assistant and run a full update scan. Sometimes the audio control package is bundled with driver updates.
  • Install from HP Drivers Page: Visit the HP OMEN 16 support page, enter your serial number, and download the latest “HP Audio Control / Bang & Olufsen Audio Control” package specifically listed for Windows 11.
  • Uninstall Conflicting Audio Apps: If you have other audio enhancement software (like third-party equalizers), uninstall them before reinstalling Bang & Olufsen Audio Control.
  • Reinstall Realtek Audio Driver: Go to Device Manager → Sound, video and game controllers → Right-click Realtek Audio → Uninstall device (check “Delete driver software”). Then restart and reinstall the driver from HP’s support page.
  • Microsoft Store Check:  Search for “HP Audio Control” or “Bang & Olufsen Audio Control” there and try installing directly.

I hope this helps.
