Hi there,
See if anyone can provide me with some suggestion.
I for the OMEN by HP 45L Gaming Desktop GT22-3003a (B87Q1PA) which comes with the Intel 285K, and an AIO for CPU Cooling.
Recently I am considering changing the platform to AM5, while using the same cash and AIO. Just wondering if anyone has any experience, and what sort of bracket I need to get to make sure the AIO connect nicely to the AM5 Cpu and motherboard?
Thank you.

Greetings @AlvaKT
Welcome to the HP Forum.
The 45L case is very accommodating when doing retail component upgrades.
So an AM5 MB using an AMD CPU is an option.
You might have a problem finding a compatible AM5 retention ring for the HP AIO CPU liquid cooler. This HP AIO CPU cooler is made specifically for HP. I have no idea who the OEM is.
Maybe the AIO CPU cooler is made by Asetek.
I don't know if it's possible to purchase the AM5 retention ring for this AIO CPU cooler from HP. You would have to see if the Intel retention ring attached to the AIO pump can be removed.
You might have to replace the current AIO CPU cooler if you cannot find a suitable retention ring needed to attach the pump block to the AM5 CPU backplate.
I'm curious, why are you replacing an Intel 285K CPU? This is a very good CPU.

Thank you for the reply.
Okay, a little too much uncertainty for me to go ahead at this stage.
285K is indeed a good CPU, but I think what the CPU is created for, I'll be likely to move that chipset to an ITX form factor instead, and use an AMD for this case for more gaming orient purposes.

Greetings @AlvaKT
My pleasure.
I'm guessing no other Forum member has a specific answer to your question since you have not received any other replies to this issue.
Check the HP radiator and pump block when you disassemble the 45L. Maybe you will see an Asetek Logo or a part number.
HP generally do not provide much component details in product descriptions.
You could try HP Part Surfer but HP may have provided a HP part number for this component.
Your PC's part number should provide a list of components installed in your PC.
So it would be difficult to cross reference a HP part to the Asetek part number.
