I've seen a few posts about power issues on the Omen 30L. I had a few power offs even when nothing was running on my system. Now it won't power on at all. Not even a light from the active network cable.
No response on any of the other posts. I have brought it back to the place I bought it to be checked out under warranty.
(This forum keeps asking me to fix an issue with my post then accuses me of spaming the forum when I hit submit)

@Kuffner2843 , welcome to the Community.
I am sorry to hear about your problems. I believe they will most likely find that you have a failed power supply unit (PSU). The symptoms that you describe are very characteristic of a PSU problem.

Yup. I brought it back and was given a refund and have a new system. Further investigation shows that a RTX2070S is recommended to have a 650watt power supply, not the 550watt one that the Omen 30L ships with.
Bad designed leads to frustrated customers.
Thanks for the response @Old_geekster

You are welcome, @Kuffner2843!
I am glad that you have a new computer and the problem is solved.
Actually, HP engineers their systems to work properly with the components installed at the time of purchase. This would include the video cards. They may not be the exactly the same as a retail version of the same model.
